The website and Paws Akimbo brand are operated by Aevum Holdings LLC. Throughout these Terms, “Paws Akimbo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Aevum Holdings LLC and the Paws Akimbo brand.
By accessing the website, placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the website.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your state of residence to make a purchase through our website.
By using the website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Online Store Terms
You may not use our products, website, or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

3. Products and Intended Use
Paws Akimbo reusable dog pads are pet-hygiene products designed to assist with managing accidents, incontinence, house-training needs, crate protection, and the protection of household surfaces.
Our products are not veterinary devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or behavioral condition.
Product performance may vary depending on:

The volume and frequency of liquid.

Product placement and sizing.
-
Washing and drying practices.
-
The age and condition of the pad.
-
The animal’s habits and behavior.
-
Whether the product is used according to its care instructions.
No pet product is indestructible. Customers should supervise pets that chew, scratch, shred, or ingest fabrics. Discontinue use if a pad becomes significantly damaged or presents an ingestion, choking, or entanglement risk.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to display product photographs, colors, dimensions, materials, specifications, prices, and descriptions accurately.
However, minor differences may occur because of:

Manufacturing tolerances.

Product improvements or updates.

Natural changes caused by washing and ordinary use.
Such minor differences do not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.
5. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is not considered accepted until we confirm it, process payment, or begin fulfillment.
We may refuse, limit, place under review, or cancel an order for reasons including:

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.
We may change product prices, promotions, bundles, discounts, or availability at any time before an order is placed. Changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted, except where a clear pricing or technical error has occurred.
7. Promotions and Bundle Offers
Discounts, free products, bundle offers, and promotional codes are subject to the conditions displayed with the applicable offer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Promotions cannot be combined.

Discounts and promotional credits have no cash value.

Promotions may be modified or withdrawn before an order is placed.

Removing an item from a bundle may change the discount or refund amount.

Refunds for bundle purchases may be calculated using the effective discounted value allocated to each item.

Any included promotional items may need to be returned with an eligible unopened order to receive a full refund.
8. Free Shipping
Paws Akimbo provides free standard shipping on all products shipped to eligible addresses within the United States.
Free shipping applies to the original outbound shipment only. It does not include:

Customer-paid return shipping for unopened and unused products.

Reshipping caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
-
Address-correction charges.
-
Expedited shipping, unless expressly offered at no charge.

Charges resulting from refused or undeliverable packages.
Shipping and delivery are also governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. The 60-Day Pristine Home Guarantee
Every eligible Paws Akimbo order is covered by our 60-Day Pristine Home Guarantee.
The 60-day period begins on the date carrier tracking confirms that the order was delivered.
The guarantee is designed to address manufacturing defects, unopened returns, and shipping errors while maintaining strict sanitary standards for pet-hygiene products.
Covered Claims
The guarantee may cover:

Structural stitching failures present before use.
-
Grip backing that arrives peeling, separating, or cracked.
-
Liquid-barrier defects present before use.
-
Items that remain completely unopened, unused, in their original packaging, and in brand-new resalable condition.
-
Orders containing the wrong size, color, product, or quantity because of our fulfillment error.
Claims That Are Not Covered
The guarantee does not cover:

Pads that have been used by a pet.
-
Pads that have been unrolled, placed into use, soiled, washed, or otherwise exposed to pet waste.
-
Returns based solely on a change of mind after the sanitary packaging has been opened.
-
Damage caused by chewing, shredding, scratching, digging, dragging, or other animal misuse.
-
Damage caused by improper washing, drying, bleach, fabric softener, excessive heat, or failure to follow care instructions.
-
Minor pilling, natural fading, or ordinary cosmetic wear.
-
Normal deterioration resulting from extended or repeated use.
-
Claims submitted more than 60 days after delivery.
If you discover an apparent manufacturing defect while initially inspecting an opened product, do not place the product into use or allow a pet to contact it. Contact us immediately with photographic or video evidence.
Because these products are used for pet hygiene, used or soiled products cannot be physically returned or restocked.
10. Unopened and Unused Returns
Eligible unopened and unused returns must be initiated within 60 days after delivery.
To request a return:

Include your order number.

Identify the unopened items you wish to return.

Wait for return instructions before sending the products.
Returned items must:

Remain completely unopened and unused.
-
Remain in their original packaging.
-
Be in brand-new, resalable condition.
-
Be shipped to the return location provided by our support team.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for unopened and unused returns.
Original outbound shipping charges are not deducted because standard outbound shipping is provided free of charge.
After the return is received and inspected, an approved refund will cover the eligible product purchase price.
We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining the shipping receipt.
11. Manufacturing Defects and Shipping Errors
If an order arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, incorrect item, incorrect size, incorrect color, or incorrect quantity, contact us within 60 days after delivery.
Your claim should include:

Your order number.

A description of the issue.

Clear photographs or a short video showing the defect or shipping error.
-
A photograph of the shipping label or packaging when relevant.
Once the claim is verified, we may provide, at our expense:

A full refund for the affected item; or
-
A replacement item at no additional cost.
We may not require a defective or incorrect hygiene product to be physically returned. If a return is required, Paws Akimbo will provide instructions and cover the authorized return cost.
Customers will not be required to pay out of pocket to correct a verified manufacturing defect or Paws Akimbo fulfillment error.
12. Refund Processing
Once an eligible return is inspected and approved, or a defect claim is verified, we will process the approved refund within two business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
After we process a refund, the customer’s bank, payment provider, or credit-card issuer may require an additional three to seven business days to post the funds.
Customers will receive an email confirmation when a refund has been issued or a replacement order has been created.
13. Returns Abuse
We reserve the right to deny a claim where there is evidence of:

Fraud.

Misrepresentation.
-
Altered or fabricated photographs.
-
Intentional product damage.
-
Repeated policy abuse.
-
Returning a different product from the item originally ordered.

Attempted return of a used or soiled hygiene product as new.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
14. Order Changes and Cancellations
We begin processing orders promptly.
Requests to change or cancel an order should be sent to support@pawsakimbo.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after fulfillment has begun.
If an order has already shipped, it will be handled under the Pristine Home Guarantee and applicable return conditions.
15. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship only within the United States.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless an expressly guaranteed carrier service is identified.
Shipping may be affected by carrier disruptions, severe weather, public emergencies, inventory issues, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot ship an order within the timeframe communicated during purchase, we will provide an updated estimate and any cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.
16. Customer Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete:

Billing information.

Shipping addresses.

Apartment, unit, and postal information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent conduct, availability, content, or policies of third-party services, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
18. Reviews and Customer Content
When you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that:

It is not unlawful, abusive, deceptive, defamatory, or malicious.
You grant Aevum Holdings LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, edit, publish, display, distribute, and use that content for business, customer-service, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms.
19. Intellectual Property
The Paws Akimbo website and its contents—including text, photographs, videos, product graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, layouts, branding, and trademarks—are owned by or licensed to Aevum Holdings LLC.
You may use the website only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, republish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
Except for warranties expressly provided under the Pristine Home Guarantee or required by law, we do not guarantee that:

The website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Every animal will use or respond to the product in the same manner.

The product will prevent every accident, leak, odor, tracking event, or instance of property damage.

The product will remain free from damage caused by chewing, scratching, misuse, or improper care.

Some states do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aevum Holdings LLC and its owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, service providers, licensors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from:

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aevum Holdings LLC, Paws Akimbo, and their personnel, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Pristine Home Guarantee and Return & Refund Policy, constitute the agreement between you and Aevum Holdings LLC regarding use of the Paws Akimbo website and purchases made through it.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in the applicable courts located in Sacramento, California, unless consumer-protection law permits the customer to bring a claim elsewhere.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the website and updating the “Last Updated” date.
Changes apply prospectively from the date they are published unless applicable law requires otherwise.
