Our Return & Refund Policy

At Paws Akimbo, we believe a clean, calm home shouldn’t be a luxury — it should be the standard. We built our reusable pads to hold up to real life: real accidents, real washes, and real dogs. Because our products are used for pet hygiene, we maintain strict safety and sanitary standards to protect our team, our customers, and their pets.

If something about your order isn't right, our Pristine Home Guarantee is designed to resolve it quickly, fairly, and professionally.

60-Day Pristine Home Guarantee

Every Paws Akimbo order is covered by our 60-Day Pristine Home Guarantee. From the date your order is delivered, you have a full 60 days to inspect your items and ensure they meet our high standard of quality.

What's Covered

Manufacturing Defects: Structural stitching failures, grip backing that peels or cracks out of the box, or liquid barrier issues present before use.
Unopened & Unused Items: Products that remain completely unopened, in their original packaging, and in brand-new, resalable condition.
Shipping Errors: If you received the wrong size, color, or quantity from what you originally ordered.

What's Not Covered

Used or Opened Pads: Due to strict sanitary and biohazard regulations, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for any pad that has been opened, unrolled, or used by a pet.
Dog Damage: Damage resulting from your pet chewing, shredding, scratching, or misusing the pad.
Normal Cosmetic Wear: Minor pilling, natural fading from repeated laundering, or wear from extended use beyond the 60-day window.

How Returns & Claims Work

We’ve streamlined our process to handle your requests efficiently. All eligible return or defect claims must be initiated within 60 days of your delivery date.

For Unopened & Unused Returns:

Initiate Your Return: Email our support team at support@pawsakimbo.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.
Ship it Back: Items must be shipped back to our fulfillment warehouse in their original, unopened packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Inspection & Refund: Once our warehouse receives and inspects the items to confirm they are unopened, we will issue a full refund for the product purchase price to your original payment method.

For Defective or Damaged Items:

If your pad arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, we will resolve it completely at our expense.

Contact Support: Email us at support@pawsakimbo.com within 60 days of delivery.
Provide Proof: Include your order number and a clear photo or quick video showing the defect. This allows our quality assurance team to investigate and prevent it from happening again.
Resolution: Once verified, we will issue a full refund or ship out a brand-new replacement item immediately — 100% free of charge. You will never pay out of pocket for our error.

Refund Timing & Method

Processing: Once a return is inspected and approved at our warehouse, or a defect is verified by our team, refunds are processed within 2 business days.
Settlement: Refunds are automatically issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, it typically takes an additional 3–7 business days for the funds to post to your account.
Confirmation: You will receive an automated email notification the moment your refund is issued or your replacement order is tracking.
